We represent a science-based SME (www.WaterITech.com) that specialize in application of state-of-the-art hydrological and ecological models for forecasting purposes. In 2019, we won a national Innovation award (an InnoExplorer grant), which has allowed us to mature a unique web-based portal for hydrological and ecological forecasting of in-land waters (www.WaterWebTools.com). The portal is applicable world-wide and can be tailored to end-user needs, and enable the use of latest modelling technologies for addressing critical water challenges. We are interested in further advancing this portal, for example by enabling forecasting of the dispersal, transformation and impacts of CEC and pathogens in aquatic ecosystems. We can offer this development as part of a JPI project.
We represent a small, Danish, science-based SME (www.WaterITech.com) that specialize in advanced data analysis (e.g, using Python) and application of state-of-the-art hydrological and ecological models. The SME was initiated in 2019 as a spin-out from Aarhus University. Our company currently counts two senior, permanent staff members with many years of experience from both the research and private sector. In addition, we have a wide network of highly skilled collaborators within numerical modelling and software engineering, which we utilize on contract-basis. We can be used as a subcontractor or partner in research projects, and have capacity to undertake contracts usually ranging 100k to 2 mio Euro.
