Theme 1 - Measuring
We have a broad knowledge in the field of development of analytical methodologies for determination of various types of samples e.g. pharmaceuticals and drugs in water samples and body fluids. We are also interested for a long time in the determination of chiral compounds in various matrices. We are also able to determine ultra-trace amounts of inorganic ions e.g. in pharmaceuticals.
The Department of Analytical Chemistry at the Palacky University Olomouc, Czech Republic is fully equipped for the advanced analytical tasks. The equipment consists of several HPLC-MS instruments including high-resolution Cyclic Ion Mobility Mass Spectrometry from Waters (3rd installation in the World), HR-MS Synapt G2-S, QTOF Premier or quadrupole MS Xevo TQS, several GC-MS (GC-MS/MS) instruments from Agilent, several CE instruments also with MS (QQQ) from Agilent, laser-ablation Analyte G2, ICP-MS 7700x Agilent, ICP-oa-TOF-MS Optimass 9500 (GBC) and electrochemical workstations e.g. Nanoampere, Autolab PGSTAT 128N, HPLC with Coulochem III and SECM-AFM Dimension Icon from Bruker.
