Analytical chemistry including sample preparation and stat-of-the-art MS couplings:
-Applying and/or developping targeted analytical strategies for CECs useful to Subthemes 1.1 (Estimating the entry point of CECs...) and 2.1 (Estimation of the transmission...).
-Applying and further developping our NTS analytical strategy (Léon et al., 2019, Anal Chem) for halogenated CECs useful to Subthemes 1.2 (...development of tools and digital solutions) and 2.2 (Identification and selection of the main CECs... in order to establish a priority list...; Assessing the occurrence...)
LABERCA's (Laboratory for Residue and Contaminants Analysis in Food) general domain of activity is the chemical food safety, in a global risk assessment perspective: generation and interpretation of exposure and body burden data, study of the transfer and metabolism of investigated chemicals from their sources to the consumers through the food chain by various mass spectrometry couplings (LC/GC, GCxGC, MSn, HRMS..). Besides targeted approaches, it has been developing an expertise in NTS and metabolomics to reveal biomarkers of chemical exposure/effect. LABERCA is a research unit of ONIRIS recognised by both the French General Directorate for Research and Teaching (DGER) and by the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (INRA). It is also the National Reference Laboratory (NRL) of the French General Directorate for Food (DGAl) for the analysis of various classes of residues and contaminants. ISO 9001, 17025, 17043. Current involvment in H2020 HBM4EU (COFUND-EJP) as WP leader.
