We are looking for consortia that might be interest for collaboration.
The polluted waters have a big concern for human and environmental health. The water quality has a big importance for the public and authorities. The water quality composed of physical, chemical, and biological approaches. However, main health threats such as microbial diversity including bacterial pathogens most important indicators biological quality of the aquatic environments. Water sources have a microbiota which that has a big contribution to water source including nutrient cycling however, microbiota involves pathogens and associated antimicrobial-resistant bacteria which causes serious waterborne disease and dissemination on antibiotic resistance in both animals and humans.
Therefore, we offer partner collaboration in line with the following objectives:
1) Deciphering and measuring antimicrobial resistome and associated bacterial pathogens from water sources
2) Examination and comparison of waterborne pathogens by sampling bioindicator organisms e.g. Mytilus and the other crustacean fauna from marine environments.
3) Evaluation and understanding of the spread of antibiotic resistance genes.
